Mary Chris Wall
Although no stranger to live performance, Mary Chris is thrilled to be making her Los Angeles stage debut in The Vagina Monologues. Originally from upstate New York and a graduate of New York University, her stage experience includes the Broadway and national touring company of the hit musical "42nd Street," and numerous regional credits including Six Women with Brain Death, Misalliance and A Cry of Players. On her way to Los Angeles, she had an extended layover in Texas which not only led to a steady stream of commercial, television and film work, but she would eventually land the role of Ellen Talbot in the Peabody and Emmy Award winning PBS Children's series, "Wishbone," during which time she made guest appearances nationwide as part of the "Reading is Fundamental" campaign. While living in Texas, she also served as President of Women in Film/Dallas. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, she appeared as a series regular in Nickelodeon's "The Journey of Allen Strange." She has guest starred on Cold Case, Without a Trace, 24, Dexter, Cory in the House, Veronica Mars, Summerland, The Practice, Alley McBeal, Walker, Texas Ranger and The Bold and the Beautiful. Feature film credits include Rodeo Girl, Inspector Gadget, Blank Check and Ruby in which she played Jaqueline Kennedy. You've seen and heard her on hundreds of commercials including IHOP, Hyatt Hotels, Kia, Effexor and Chase. Basically, she'll tell you what to eat, where to stay, what to drive, what to take to make you happy once you get there and how to pay for it when you're done. Her work as a corporate spokesperson and host includes an impressive list of clients such as American Airlines, Frito-Lay, JC Penney, EDS, American Heart Association and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
