Meredith Scott Lynn

Meredith founded Big Hair Productions and produced, along with director Julie Davis, the indie film “I Love You, Don’t Touch Me!” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in '97 and was released to critical acclaim by MGM. Immediately following she was offered the role opposite Sean Hayes in, and then signed on to produce, the independent film success Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss. A Sundance festival favorite, Billy’s (released by Trimark) was the industry’s largest grossing gay themed indie. Meredith was bitten by the directing bug and co-directed the original screenplay Standing On Fishes in which she co-stars with Kelsey Grammer, Jason Priestley, Pamela Reed and writer Bradford Tatum. A big audience pleaser, that garnered exceptional reviews from local and national press, Fishes won best feature or the audience award at a number of festivals nation wide. She co-produced and co-stars in How to Go Out On A Date in Queens with Jason Alexander, Rob Estes, Ron Pearlman and Kimberly Williams. She developed and directed the short film, “Demo Reel…a tragedy in 10 minutes” which opened the shorts program at HBO’s prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.

She recently founded 1Train Films, a company on a mission to make movies people want to see… She’s attached to solo direct her first feature, Pay The Ladies for producer Gina Resnick and executive producer, Amy Heckerling.

Meredith is the executive producer/co-creator of the unique, reality-based, make-over show “Designing Blind” which airs on the prestigious A&E network..

On the acting end, Meredith just co-starred in Justin Lin’s latest film and mockumentary Finishing The Game and as Matthew Modine’s ex-wife in The Neighbor. She co-starred with Harrison Ford, Josh Hartnett and Bruce Greenwood in the poorly marketed comedy, Hollywood Homicide. She played lesbian activist Enid Wexler in MGM's Legally Blonde, co-starred as the aggressive bridesmaid “Debbie” in Dreamworks Forces Of Nature with Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock and as the “Credit Vixen” in Paramount’s A Night At The Roxbury. She co-stars in the first and only special FX Passover movie, When Do We Eat? with Leslie Ann Warren, Jack Klugman and Michael Lerner. She recurs as tough Defense attorney, Carol Allred on the hit series CSI, and her television acting resume dates further back then she can bear.

Along with her film endeavors, Meredith has multiple television projects that are either sold or in development hell with everyone else’s.

In addition to countless cancelled series and pilots, Meredith recently co-starred in Justin Lin’s "mockumentary" Sundance hit, Finishing The Game and as Matthew Modine’s ex-wife in The Neighbor. She's had smaller roles in big studio films like Legally Blonde, Hollywood Homicide, Forces Of Nature, A Night At The Roxbury, etc. and big roles in indie films including I Love You, Don't Touch me, Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, Standing On Fishes. She's a busy bitch with a lot of hair.
