Deanna Raphael is thrilled to return for her third, Victoria Leigh Russell production, of The Vagina Monologues. She is currently working with her comedy partner, Retta, on their two-woman show, DNR… It’s just Not Worth It. Having just completed shooting Slice, the short film she wrote staring Vincent Pastore and Katherine Narducci, Deanna is hard at work on the feature-length version. This year she also starred in the short comic film Alter Ego.
Deanna has trained at prestigious institutions such as the SOHO Theater in London under Paul Siret and The Stella Adler Institute under Charles Maryon. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the State University of New York at Oswego. Since moving to Los Angeles Ms. Raphael has studied with acting coaches Brian Reise and Carmen Milito, and has performed in numerous plays, including Marty and Collected Stories.
