Candace Lopez - Director
Candace Lopez just can't get enough of V-Day and vagina love! Her involvement in V-Day began at Pepperdine University where she earned her degree in Intercultural Communication with a minor in Spanish. Despite strong opposition by the university, she performed in the 2004 V-Day Malibu production of the Vagina Monologues, produced by Victoria Russell.

Amanda Deibert
Amanda most recently was seen on stage in New York as the lead character of "Cal" in the Off-Broadway staging of Meghan Gambling's The Kitchen Sink at the Actor's Playhouse for which she received rave reviews. She originated the role here in Hollywood. She is currently filming as the lead character in a web series produced by Sundance winner, Anastasia King (American Blackout) and written/directed by Mel Robertson. She can be seen in the Film Foundry's upcoming feature film The Dog Days of Summer alongside Will Patton and in the Student Academy Award winning short film Christmas Wishlist.

Aneela Zaman
Born in Toronto, Canada of East Indian immigrants, Aneela began her career in Los Angeles as a celebrity make-up artist and founded Aneela Cosmetics for the International Woman of Color. She has worked as a make-up artist with talented actresses such as Allison Janney, Linda Carter, Nicollette Sheridan, and CC Pounder. Aneela has also worked with renowned photographers such as Charles Bush and Steve Shaw.

Brooke Benson grew up in Los Angeles and began acting at a very young age. She went on to Study Theater at UCLA, developing a deep appreciation for avant-garde theater, the classics and writers who had a deep message to convey through their works.

Cindy Hetzel
Cindy Hetzel was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan just before she got whisked away by a model talent scout from Manhattan that changed her course for years to come. Traveling the globe as a fashion model and walking the runways for designers such as Giorgio Armani, Emmanel Ungaro and Vera Wang really broadened her ideal of what was possible and realized there was a voice behind the face.

Cristina is local actress imported from her hometown of Honolulu, HI. She hula-ed her way over to Los Angeles 5 years ago to obtain her BA in theater arts at Pepperdine University. During her time there, she had the great opportunity to perform in the Vagina Monologues for VDay Malibu produced by Victoria Russell.

Danielle Egnew
Having held two full-ride scholarships for theater from the University of Arizona and The University of Montana, multi-award winning musical artist / actress Danielle Egnew's name is synonymous with success. Boasting a tremendous career as the Artist / Producer fronting legendary girl band Pope Jane, she was most recently named a three-time nominee for the All Access Music Awards 2006 (Best Female Pop/Alternative Vocalist, and Best Overall Songwriter) while winning Best Pop/Alternative Female Guitarist, garnering her a guitar endorsement by Minarik Guitars (Gene Simmons - KISS, James Valentine - Maroon 5).

Deanna Raphael
Deanna Raphael is thrilled to return for her third, Victoria Leigh Russell production, of The Vagina Monologues. She is currently working with her comedy partner, Retta, on their two-woman show, DNR… It’s just Not Worth It. Having just completed shooting Slice, the short film she wrote staring Vincent Pastore and Katherine Narducci, Deanna is hard at work on the feature-length version. This year she also starred in the short comic film Alter Ego.

In 2005 she was a finalist in the Method Film Festival Acting Competition in Calabasas. Melanie Chapman graduated from Bard College with a BA in Film, and considers herself priviledged to have studied acting with the legendary Sandy Miesner, as well as with Roy London, Richard Seid, Jeffrey Tambor and Stephanie Feury. Melanie is a member of the Open Fist Theatre company, and has performed as Mae in MUD.....

Mimi Moss is a native New Mexican (yes, its part of the Unites States, no, she doesn't speak Spanish) recently transplanted to Los Angeles. She is honored to be included in the cultural phenomenon known as The Vagina Monologues.
Look for her next in the Bone Thugs N'Harmony biopic, "I Tried" airing on BET in the summer.

After earning her BFA in Theater from Syracuse University and her brief stint in NYC on the off Broadway stages, Shari Goldberg moved to Los Angeles to pursue her television and film career. While living in sunny California, she has spent her time volunteering with Project Angel Food and other various volunteer organizations.

Susan Burns
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Susan discovered her love of theatre through improv comedy and embraced her wackiness onstage while performing in annual team competitions. She moved to Los Angeles to attend Occidental College, where she studied performance as well as playwriting and graduated with degrees in Theatre and Spanish Cultural Studies.
